はじめに

WLAN クライアント の Web 認証に関して、AireOS 8.0 において拡張がなされております。
このドキュメントでは、その拡張内容について説明します。

AireOS 7.6 以前の実装

AireOS 7.6 以前では、WLAN クライアントのブラウザのホームページ（ブラウザ起動時に最初にアクセスするページ）が https となっている場合は、Web 認証画面へリダイレクトさせることはできず、Web 認証そのものができませんでした。

AireOS 8.0 での拡張

AireOS 8.0 では、WLAN クライアントが最初に https でアクセスしてきた場合であっても、Web 認証画面へリダイレクトできるようにする設定を追加する拡張を行っております。

ステップ 1.

[MANAGEMENT] > [HTTP-HTTPS] を開き、HTTPS Redirection において[Enabled] を選択します

 

ステップ 2.
[Apply] をクリックして変更を確定します

ステップ 3.
[Save Configuration] をクリックして変更を保存します

ステップ 1.
次のコマンドにより、設定変更を行います

(Cisco Controller) >config network web-auth https-redirect enable

ステップ 2.
変更した設定を保存します

(Cisco Controller) >save config

A client whose home page is an HTTPS (HTTP over SSL, port 443) one is not redirected by Web Auth to the web authentication dialog box. Therefore, it is not possible for such a client to get authenticated, and eventually, fails to connect to the network. The workaround is for the client to open an HTTP (port 80) web page.

If a client requests a web page through HTTPS, the client is redirected to the WebAuth login page.
