はじめに

PI 上で Heatmap などのサービスがうまく動作しなくなったなどの問題が発生した際は、まず MSE, PI, WLC 間の同期の確認を行うことが重要です。本ドキュメントでは、MSE, PI, WLC 間の同期の確認のポイントについてまとめます。

確認のポイント 

 

Point 1 : PI - MSE 間の同期の確認

PI の GUI 上より、Service > Mobility Services Engines を選択。

対象の MSE の Reachability Status が ”Reachable" かどうかを確認します。

Point 2 : PI - WLC 間の同期の確認

PI の GUI 上より、

Inventory > Network Device のページの WLC の Admin Status が "Managed"、Last Inventory Collection Status が "Completed" であることを確認

Last Inventory Collection Status がCompleted  になっていない場合

右のビックリマークをクリックすると詳細情報が確認できます。

出力されている Possible Cause の内容に沿って、まずは対応をします。

Point 3 : MSE - WLC 間の同期の確認

 

Point 3-1 : PI の GUI より Sync Status を確認する

PI の GUI より、

Service > Synchronized Services を選択し Controllers のページを確認します。

Sync Status が緑の矢印になっていることを確認します。

 "NMSP Status" ボタンから、NMSP Connection Status Details に遷移できます。

 NMSP Status が Active であることを確認します。

Active ではない場合

Status のとなりに詳細が確認できるアイコンが出力されます。

そのアイコンを選択すると、Active にならない原因が確認できるので、Fail している項目に沿って対応が必要になります。

Point 3-2 : MSE の GUI より NMSP Status を確認する

※ 以下では、MSE 8.0.140.9 で確認しています。

 1. 右上の Configuration ボタンを選択

 2. STATUS > NMSP Status より NMSP Status を確認

  NMSP Status が "Active" であることを確認します。

 

NMSP Status が Inactive の場合

詳細を確認できるアイコンが "Inactive" の文字列の右隣に出力され、クリックすると可能性のある原因が確認できます。Fail している項目に沿って対応が必要になります。

Point 3-3 : WLC の CLI より NMSP の状態を確認する

以下のコマンドで NMSP の状態や、登録されている MSE を確認します。

- show nmsp status
- show nmsp statistics summary
- show auth-list

Service Request をオープンする際のチェックポイント

TAC へ Service Request をオープンする際は、上述のチェックポイントを予め確認して頂けると、スムーズに調査が進む場合がございます。

以下のスクリーンショットの取得をお願いします。

( Point 1 より )

  * PI の GUI 上より、Service > Mobility Services Engines のページ

( Point 2 より )

  * PI の GUI 上より、Inventory > Network Device のページ

  * Last Inventory Collection Status がCompleted になっていない場合は、合わせてポップアップされる Collection Status Details の画面

( Point 3 より )

  PI の GUI より、

   * Service > Synchronized Services を選択し Controllers のページ

   * 上記ページの "NMSP Status" ボタンから、NMSP Connection Status Details のページ

   * NMSP Status が "Active" ではない場合は、NMSP Troubleshooting Checklist のページ

MSE の GUI より、

   * Configuration > STATUS > NMSP Status のページ

   * NMSP Status が "Inactive" の場合は、NMSP Troubleshooting の画面

WLC の CLI より、   ※ こちらはスクリーンショットではございません

   * NMSP 関連のコマンド出力

      - show nmsp status

      - show nmsp statistics summary

      - show auth-list
