I want to create a local user in vCenter. The vCenter Installation should be automated and needs additional user accounts. I didn't find a task for this in UCS Director. I think I should write a custom task. But now, what ist the best practice to create such custom task? Is there an function in the UCSD API to create this user?
Maybe someone has the same problem or has a good advice.
Many Thanks!

If you want to create the user in vcenter you need a vcenter API call not a ucsd API call.

Thanks for your answer.
I want to create the user over the ucsd with a cloupia script.
I found a possibility to call the vijava (VMware VI vSphere Java API) library direct in a cloupia script.
This packages should be imported for a call over the vijava library.
importPackage(com.vmware.vim25);
importPackage(com.vmware.vim25.mo);
But in the vijava library there is no function call to create a new user.
I create the user now over a simple ssh command.

Nothing wrong with a ssh command to localhost to call something.
