Hi all
I have installed cisco operation manager 2.2 in my network which include cucm, VG and switches. The operation manager is installed in windows server 2003. The problem is when i try to add for example the cucm it gave an error
(Cannot add device.
See the NMSROOT/log/CUOM/TIS/DeviceManagement.log file for more information)
I have configured the SNMP in cucm and also alarms...
also when i try to discover these switches and CUCM it gave error
(There are no devices in the inventory)
Can any one help me in this
Please
Regards

Hi abdulla
i hope you are fine today ,
first thing you must check the connection between your OM and devices you want to add it
1- configure community string in all your network devices
2- cheking if you enable SNMP service in your OM server
3-from OM server ping to your devices
4- download Snmpwalk for windows and install it in your OM server after that run CMD
and write CD\ then CD snmpwalk then write this command
snmpwalk -v2c (destination IP for VG or CUCM ) (community string SNMP FOR destination )
if there is time out you must check the SNMP community is correct or not and if any firewall block the connection
anf if it is working please reply to me
