I'm having a problem running the Configuration Setup on a Unity 3.16 server I'm trying to migrate to new hardware. The Configuration setup runs up to the last dialog prompt where it wants the Unity Admin account selected. The values for this prompt default to the Unity Installer account. If I leave the default value alone and press next, the setup completes without error.
If I select a different account, it fails with a message "Can't reassign Installer's account to current user."
I know of the bug regarding this message but it isn't the problem. TAC has confirmed this.
The only thing I noticed is that the default value that configuration setup provides for the Unity admin account references the domain name in Pre-Windows2k style ("NTDOMABC") but after selecting the change button and picking the preferred account, the domain value changes to the Window2k style ("InternalABC.com")
Any thoughts.

Do you see any errors in the application logs?

Nope. No errors in the event log.

I don't know if running Permission Wizards to assign permission to the correct account would make a difference, but have you tried that? Try it with the PW 403+ from ciscounitytools.
