Hello

We have a customer with collaboration version 8.x that will upgrade to version 11.x. This customer applied a wrong upgrade version CUCM 8.6.2.25900-8 Unrestricted cluster,  so now he request a upgrade version from 8.6.x to 11.x.

I would like to know the specifc details that is not mentioned in the cisco docs, something like:

  1. how change the ova template to support RED HAT Version 6;
  2. how to change the vmxnet to vmxnet3;
  3. how to support sha  with ciscocm.version3-keys.cop.sgn
  4. how to realocate disk space from vmware;
  5. how to improve security for bash (ciscocm.bashupgrade.cop.sgn)

Following the version of hardware and app runing:

  • 3x UCS C220 M3 with vmware 4.1 / 5.0
  • 3x CUCM 8.6.2.25900-8 Unrestricted cluster;
  • 3x CUPS 8.6.4.10000-28 cluster;
  • 1x UCCX 8.5.1.11004-25 Premium standalone;
  • 1x UCCX 8.5.1.11004-25 Standard standalone ;

And I'm guessing you have not reviewed the documentation on how to upgrade, because the documentation DOES cover what you're asking.

How to install the RSA version 3 keys, how to modify the specs of the VM and related COPs are covered in the documentation.

ciscocm.bashupgrade.cop.sgn has a README that covers all you need to know about it.

You need to read

A) Upgrade guide

B) Release notes

I suggest you read the documentation, and then, you come back with questions.

I'm not exactly sure of what you mean in #4
