Issues with Salesforce Plugin

I am having some issues with the Salesforce plugin:

  1. Automated installation of TSP.
We are currently testing with a small group and will then role out to a much larger group.
Does anyone have any instructions for how I can roll out this install automatically?
  2. Password change policy.
Our CUPC passwords are synced with our windows passwords which are changed frequently.
Every time a user is required to change their windows password the TSP driver will no longer connect as it has the old password.
  3. CUPC Softphone is ignored.
We have CUPC and are using the softphone.
If I answer an incoming call with CUPC the call comes through the headset via the computer.
If I answer an incoming call with in the plugin the phone (Cisco IP Phone 7941) is put in hands free with the speaker on.

My installation is:

  • Client
    • Cisco Salesforce Plugin 1.3.2
    • Cisco Unified Communications Manager TSP 6.1(3.2)
    • Cisco Unified Personal Communicator 7.0(2.13496)
  • Server
    • Unified Communications Manager 6.1

Thanks

Question #1:
Which documentation have you referenced that needs to be updated with the info?

Question #2:
CUPC passwords are based on the Unified CM passwords.  If using LDAP
Synchronization/Authorization, CUPC will use the password stored in LDAP.
This is the recommended deployment as any password change in LDAP will
automatically be picked up by Unified CM.  Without LDAP Synchronization/
Authorization, Unified CM maintains passwords locally and will need to be
changed every time there is a password change in LDAP.

Is the issue the management of backend passwords with Unified CM, or the

fact that the plugin is not picking up the automatic password changes?

Question #3:
Calls that are presented to CUPC, are handled through configuration and setup
on Unified CM.  CUPC softphone is a registered SIP line side device (UPC device)

on Unified CM and calls are presented to the configured audio source on the client

(which in this case appears to be the headset in your example).

Can you clarify the issue, as the title states CUPC softphone is ignored.
