Questions on Multiple Unity server design .

I am trying to design a Unity 4.0(3)System.

It will be integrated with CCM and Exchange 2000/2003 servers.

1) Is there a way to have 2 Unity servers and have

it set up for load balancing?

2) Is having two Unity servers pointed to two Call

Managers and setup to failover a single secondary

Unity server feasible?

3) Or if there is any other way/design to achieve a

redundant Unity Server system please advise .

Thanks.

Failover for Unity is active/passive and not for load balancing. One server is active while the other one is a hot standby.

You can have two unity servers pointed to two different callmanager servers as their primary Callmanager, but those callmanagers need to be in the same cluster.

Take a look at:

(especially the About Failover section).
