Subscribers regarding Unity 4.0.4 Upgrade?

When upgrading from unity 3.1.5 to 4.0.4 will the subscribers automatically be upgraded and appear in the system administrator of 4.0.4 or do they need to be imported?

In addition, if they do need to be imported, what is the best way of importing the subscriber accounts?

The upgrade from 3.x to 4.x is a "standing" upgrade, no import necessary. That was only necessary when upgrading from 2.x to 3.x/4.x since the database changed from Exchange directory to SQL and so it couldn't be done "in place".
