Use Unity as a Dial by Name Directory

I just want to know if I need to configure a Unity Subscriber just for using the Dial by Name feature (Directory Handler) of Unity ? There is an another way without creating a subscriber just for that ?

I'm a little puzzled by your request. Unity has a Name Lookup Handler object already that requires no subscriber at all - it's for callers to access and find users in the direcotry by spelling their name.

Are you asking how to get users IN the directory without creating a subscriber? You can use Internet Subscribers for this if that's the case - they do not require a license as they don't have a local mailstore. But you can record voice names for them, setup transfer rules and have them included in the name lookup handler searches if you like.

I setup a custom AA script and I want to user the Directory handler of unity to enable the caller to search by name for an extension.

Actually I'm using a CTI RP with a FWDall to VM and a directory handler assign to an internet subscriber. My question is there is a other way to use the Directory handler without assign it to an Internet subscriber.
