Unfortunately that's no new information  One supplier says 'yes you can', but Cisco says 'no you can't'. Of course it is safer to do a cold install. But this is one of those cases with conflicting interests, one says 'I need it done' and the other '...

Can anyone confirm that the modules are indeed hot-insertable? I've got to add stacking to a currently-single 9200L, and it would be so much easier if it could indeed be done without having to shutdown the switch and thus the entire department behind...

Where do you find this confirmation, or changelog? If this is indeed resolved, that would be great, but I need confirmation *and* promotion to 'recommended' before I can do anything serious with E13.

You may also want to add version_id=v06 or v07 or whatever the sticker says.  Not mandatory yet for functioning, but it looks weird to have a switch without  a version. And it is easy to fix while doing the others, but a royal pain to do it later if ...
