Same problem here.  Opened a TAC and they confirmed it is incorrectly setting to no ringback.  No work around at this point.  very frustrating.  Hopefully Cisco releases the fix soon.  Was due 3 weeks ago (July 2021).
I have a corporate logo set up as a background image for the phones.  Works fine if I manually select it in user preferences/settings but looking to make it "automatic" as a policy.  Any idea if this can be done?  Running CME12.6
