That all depends which device you want to connect with. Like, if you want to connect with a Radio Modem, you probably want V.35 DTE. For a DXX connection, many vendors use RS232. Consult with your Service Provider or the Equipment manual.

The attached document should solve your problem (with some tweaks). Probably you will want to apply crypto map to dialer interface and leave dialer-watch configs.
