Any reason a 3640 with an NM-A1-T3 couldn't handle a ds-3 circuit? We have a 10mb pvc on it which I believe can burst upto the full ds-3 speed. We seem to be losing UDP packets at the application level at a rate of about 5-10 per minute under stead...

That seems to have fixed it! I assumed that fixing it at 100/full would be best. What was the error in my thinking and what did you see that tipped you off? -- Bud

Two more notes. 98% of the traffic is multicast data coming into the DS3 interface. "show proc cpu hist" shows peek of 20% while packets are being dropped.
