Thanks for your reply - Excellent resource documentation. I tried manually specifying these attributes, but really thinking about it the only prompt I could possibly change per-group would be a password prompt - if it was possible in the first place...

I don't think I explained this properly -When I first did this post, I was looking toward syslog (show log) for verification of any failure events.SNMP was always working for me, I just wasn't looking in the right place on my NMS.

Additionally, gigabitEthernet spec always calls for auto-negotiation. Many gigabit implementations will fail (Sun gear being a usual culprit) when you try to set to 1000/full. Keep it to auto and things will work out to the best of their ability.
