Hi Dan,I think you should specify which port on the switch and the router were being used to connect to each other in order to avoid the confusion of up/up or down/down.Jeff
Looking at the errors, it could be two reasons.1. The speed and duplex mismatch in between the switchport and the end device.2. The media of gigabit connection (physical) is faulty or not compatible.HTH Jeff
