Joel, Do you know if this is supposed to be fixed in LMS 4.1? I'm also having the same 0.996 reading creating a lot of events in DFM. Thanks in advance, Col

So I worked this out. I decided to try and re-register the Ciscoworks applications within ACS. The major issue was that Common Services just refused to talk to the ACS servers. I then remembered that we closed down the tcp port range on the ACS to a manageable number of sockets to firewall. This appartently is the issue, Ciscoworks registration with ACS wont work unless you re-open the port range! Once I did that Ciscoworks re-registered with ACS and I could re-register the applications and HUM was restored back to how it was!

Dear all, I've recently upgraded our CW 3.2 to 3.2.1 and I'm having a strange issue with HUM application registration with ACS. The privileges options such as 'Super Admin' etc are no longer there! All the privilege options for all of the other LMS components are there, it's just the HUM module! This is having a knock on affect on the server as Common Services DCR is now failing as it reports the System Indentity User configuration as not having all the privileges assigned! Anyone else seen this? Regards and thanks in advance, Col

Amit, Thank you for replying so quickly and thanks for the answer! To open the question a little further. If the traffic contiuned to be out of policy would it be better to increase the CIR or increase the bc. I think the easier thing would be to increase the CIR but as this is video and bursty in it's nature I want to edge towards a higher bc value. Your thoughts would be appreciated. Regards, Col

Dear all, I have a policy map for a Tandberg video confrencing unit applied to an interface on a 3750 switch: policy-map VIDEO class VIDEO-CONF set dscp af41 police 784000 64000 exceed-action policed-dscp-transmit When I run the 'sh mls qos interface stats' command I can see I'm getting some OutofProfile packets. My question is, to qualify as an OutofProfile packet does the CIR (784k) + the burst (64k) have to exceed or does just the CIR have to exceed to increment the counter? Thanks in advance, Col

Kimihito, Thank you for your reply! I'm not sure which team you're in a Cisco but do you know if there is any thoughts on having a global counter in future versions of the code? If not then I'll speak to my SE about a feature request. Again thank you for answering my question Regards, Col

Dear all, I've configured ip dhcp snooping on several vlans I want to monitor and the binding table doesn't seem to be building.eature DHCP is on, global ip dhcp snooping is enabled, VLAN snooping is enabled on the vlan's I want to monitor and my trusted interfaces are also configured. Alas no binding entries in the table! I'm pretty sure I've not missed anything so is anyone else having this issue or has fixed this issue? 7K is running 4.2(6). Regards, Col

Dear all, I've configured unicast RPF on my VLAN interfaces but now I'm trying to see where the drop statistics are reported and how much detail they have. Can anyone point me to the correct command to show the counter? I've also read to get a more detailed drop output you need to assign a permit/deny logging ACL to show the rogue source addressing. Again could anyone point me to a good resource on how to do this? Regards and thanks in advance, Col
