C9800 17.9.x - not compatible with ISE 3.1 ?

We are running ISE 3.1 and I have plans to upgrade the C9800 to 17.9.x (which is the recommended one). But I see in the release notes that ISE 3.1 is not listed in the compatibility matrix.Is it true that ISE 3.1 is not supported?!https://www.cisco.c...
