What parts of a cisco hardware is covered by Smartnet? For example: If I have Smartnet on all my routers (2600) and at a later time added additional WIC cards. If the WIC cards fail, would that still be covered by Smartnet?
Yes you can. You can set up your own independent wireless subnet and have the concentrator as the way in to your internal network. This is an ideal way to double up security on wireless networks.
