Why there is a need of Frame Relay services instead of having TDM links,I mean what is the basic difference b/w these two. We can have TDM Muxes instead of FR mux and can provide the connecitivity over TDM links why choose frame relay

Thanks for replying me rick , well the problem is I m not getting only critical events on my syslog server from 3550 switch e.g messages like interface up or interface down messages are not showing up on server while I m getting other messages on sys...
