Thanks dtibbe! Seems weird if you need to update the firmware at a future date if there are security fixes or etc. As a network engineer it is a little frustrating that you can't get into some of your own devices!

One of my peers figured it out after dealing with this on some 1142 wireless APs.If the switch has IP routing turned on you have to use the "ip route" statement, not default-gateway!Thanks for looking.

Thanks for the response, Alex.Yes, I had put in the gateway (which is the 3560G), and they are both on Vlan 1. Didn't make a difference.
