I have two ASR with a GRE tunnel connected to another ASR. I am looking for a failover solutions to where when one ASR goes down the other takes over to keep the GRE tunnel up and have little to no downtime.
traffic is sent to ASR1 as it's booting up but no traffic is getting through since it hasn't fully come up. We want to have it routed through ASR2 until ASR1 is fully booted up. please let me know what I can do to accomplish this. We use ASAs 
I am wondering if the command "ip multicast-routing vrf ship_Multicast", effect the ACL, or would the ACL be helped by the command.

having issue with IP PIM rP-address, it keeps defaulting to the local when I need it to use the exteranl. command is written ip pim rp-address x.x.x.x EXTERNAL_MULTICAST overrideip pim rp-address x.x.x.x LOCAL_MULTICAST override
