I've inherited management of a shared fiber line I'm now the only one administrating it…The line consists of 5 3550-12g switches…My issue is one of the line participants has a port going to his private network set up as a dot1q trunk I cannot see...
I have a 3550-12g switch software Version 12.2(44)SE5 I have a customer that wants a 200meg connection…They're plugged into port 4 with a LX gbic…What would be the best way to only allow 200meg in or out of that port?
I have a Cisco 831 set up to do bridging eth0 no ip, eth1 no ip, bvi1 has the ip The problem is I've lost the ability to rate limit, you cannot rate limit on the bvi interface and when I apply my rate limit command to eth0 or 1 it no longer works…...
