Hi Finbar, which VSM version are you using? VSM 7 has the ability to push (=replace) camera configuration, providing the IP and the admin credentials are the same. If you're using VSM 6.3.2, there is camera replacement functionality available, but I believe this is only applicable when moving from 24xx & 25xx series, to the 26xx series cameras. Pelco Sarix series cameras are not supported in current version (7.0.1) of VSM. See release notes for supported camera vendors and cameras: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/security/physical_security/video_surveillance/network/vsm/release_notes/7_0_1/vsm_rn_7_0_1.html#wp43179 That said, we are introducing support for several other vendors and their cameras in VSM 7.2, which is to be released within next 4-6 weeks from today. John, All of the Cisco cameras have some sort of install and/or user guide available, which describes avaiable powering options per camera type, as well as how to connect these. A good start would be here: http://www.cisco.com/cisco/web/psa/install.html As a suitable power injector, you can use Cisco's AIR-PWRJINJ4=, which delivers 15.4W of power and "talks" the IEEE 802.3af Power over Ethernet standard. This can be used with a number of our cameras (exceptions apply though, i.e. PTZ 2900 series). Hope this helps. Regards, Gregor

Unfortunately, the EVM-IPVS-16A does not have the necessary drivers available for operation with VSM 7. The only (Cisco) analog video encoding solution fully supported in VSM 7 are the standalone 4- and 8-port encoders: Datasheet. Regards, Gregor

Josh, How are you figuring the HA cluster has become out of sync? Any issues you're seeing with the setup? In any case, I believe troubleshooting HA config is not that straightfoward and I'd highly recommend opening a TAC case (if this is production environment) or the PDI helpdesk case (if demo/testbed setup), to get proper troubleshooting support for your issue. Konstantin, while the answer provided by the Partner Helpline is not wrong, it requires a clarification. While you can use CIVS-IPCA-1011 wall mount, you will still need a threaded pipe with 3/4-in. thread on one and 1.5-in thread on the other side. This part is not available through Cisco though. Another alternative is to use wall mount with 1.5-in thread, i.e. Pelco SWM-GY or IWM-GY. Regards, Gregor

Indeed, Cisco doesn't have a outdoor HD dome camera available - yet. That said, you can use the Cisco 5000 series camera with compatible outdoor housing. In example, Pelco DF5-PG-E1 should do the trick (see attached .pdf). Hope this helps! Gregor
