I need your help to understand; that if NSO can help in automation of Cisco Hosted Collaboration Solution (HCS) in a service provider environment; like if we have multiple component of Cisco Collaboration CUCM, CUCX, PLM, CUCDM, HCMF, CPA, ExpressWay-E, ExpressWay-C, VTS.
Most of these tools give partial troubleshooting commands over CLI, but 100% manageability over GUI i.e. CUCM etc. So, how can we utilize NSO in such cases? Do we have NED available for Cisco Hosted Collaboration (HCS)?

I have a confusion , need to discuss traffic flow; I have two servers, 1 DNS, and 1 CDNS server, also there is a requirement to deploy each on a separte physically hardware (Both DNS & CDNS can be deployed on singel server but the requirement is to deploy on separate HW. So, one server is up with only DNS license and second is up with only CDNS license. What traffic flow will be better choice getting high performance? Keep CDNS as client interfacing IP for any request, if it does not have results in cache, apply a forwarder to DNS server, if DNS server can’t respond to the query, then at last it should consult with Root servers. (LAN/WAN Client --> CDNS server (if caching has no value) --> DNS (if DNS server no record) --> Root Servers) Or DNS server should face client’s request directly, if it does not have any record/value, it should consult with Cache DNS, and if Cache DNS has no record then finally get update from root server. (LAN/WAN Client --> DNS server (if DNS server has no record) --> CDNS (if CDNS server no Cache record) --> Root Servers) Please suggest. Regards

Hi, We have two LMS servers 3.0.1 deployed in Master/Slave mode. And are working properly. But we are unable to add Cisco rtr2900 series router for its configuration managemnet.Current RME version is 4.1.1. I want to go for a device update online or can be downloaded in psu_download folder. I have a confusion that Should I upgrade Common Services (RME devices list) in the same Master/Slave mode or i need to setup both in standalone mode. Which one should be preferred. Will it be enough to update RME 4.1.1 device list in LMS 3.0.1 or i must go for RME 4.3 (which requries all packages updates i mean LMS 3.2) becuase Cisco 2951 Router and Cisco 2911 Router can be added to current version of RME 4.1.1 by online update to CISCOWORKS LMS 3.0.1 and Cisco 2921 Routers and Cisco 2901 Routers can be added the updated version of CISCOWORKS LMS 3.2. Our requirement configuration mangemnet of Cisco rtr2901 and Cisco rtr2911 Supported Device List for LMS 3.2 http://www.cisco.com/en/US/partner/docs/net_mgmt/ciscoworks_lan_management_solution/3.2/device_support/table/lms32sdt.html#3.0.1-27 Supported Device List for LMS 3.0 http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/net_mgmt/ciscoworks_lan_management_solution/3.0.1/device_support/table/lms301sdt.html Thanks & Regards
