We just tried installing the VPN Beta client for Windows VISTA.It installed fine, but when we went to connect we received the following error...Secure VPN Connection Terminated locally by the client.Reason: 442: Failed to enable virtual adapter.HELP!

Can you see the file in Windows explorer?Right click on it and choose PROPERTIES.Should be a check box at the bottom for READY ONLY, etc...make sure everything is unchecked and try again.If you are from the old DOS days, you can find the file in DOS ...

Nah don't reimage. - Use your System Restore and choose a restore point BEFORE the date you installed the VPN client. That'll get you back to a clean point. Then try reinstalling. We've never had an issue with that version on XP. Hope this helps.
