Thanks John. I actually found those instructions in the interim. Reimaged the ASA, configured it, copied to start-up. But, then lost it all again when I reloaded. Back at rommon #1> Argh!! I'm using software version asa924-k8.bin. Why is it losing...

I was out of town all last week; not able to work on ASA. However, when I got back yesterday, I disabled Win FW and was able to get to TFTP. Thanks Aaron for the help. However, more problems...will submit another post.

Gotcha...Windows firewall is probably running. But I opened the UDP port. I'll disable it and give it a try.

Aaron, both the ASA and the laptop I'm using are sitting on the same desk. The patch cord is eight feet. I've tried the TFTP on two different machines and neither connects. Both PCs respond to pings. I'm at wits-end.

Ganesh, I can try another TFTP server. I just thought Solarwinds was one of the best.
