While migrating away from a legacy setup, we're adding a bunch of 150AX into our production network which will live on different VLANs. These VLANs are routed transparently, meaning traffic can flow freely between them. After adding two 150AX on VLA...
Dear all, the following debug output comes from an ASA which is acting as a DHCP server for some VLANs; this behaviour occurs only on certain mobile devices (iOS and Android) and was also observed on a Macbook, while Windows Client machines connect j...
Dear all, I have a ROAS scenario during the replacement of a few ASA 55x boxes. Involved are new vlans on the new box and old vlans on the old box; these are behind trunked switch interfaces. There is no WAN connection as per now (will add that later)...
Yep. It hangs off an ASA which will accept DHCP options only globally and offers DHCP on the management subnet in question. Even freshly nuked it asks for an IP running its OOB process or reverts to DHCP (which I can confirm it does). As you may know...
I was less than clear in the original post. I have now implemented option 43 pointing to the remote primary in hex. I nuked the new unit to see if it grabs an IP and joins the pack - it didn't.

Just for clearification : In our current infrastructure: We just don't tag egress traffic on the radio SSIDs. Instead we untag the radio SSIDs egress, cause the enddevices arent VLAN-aware, or we cannot control that. Incoming incress from the enddevi...
Why would we need to present tagged egress traffic off the AP when the end devices connected to it aren't VLAN aware ? Moreover, if we hook end devices directly to the end side of the wireless bridge, the behavior with not being served an IP is the ...
