I've found that when this happens, if the device is up and reachable by snmp, removing the device from the WLSE and then letting it be discovered again has always fixed the problem.
As I found out yesterday, specified discovery is not a workaround for having more than one WDS master.I had about 40 APs configured to communicate to the a WDS master and was trying to add a second WDS master and change the remaining APs on my networ...
I recently had a problem with my WDS infrastructure device being reported as unreachable as well. I found that deleting it from the WLSE and finding it again through discovery solved my problem.
