I see a few questions and responses around call restrictions indicating that in Fall 2011 a firmware upgrade was to be released providing call restricions (ie allowing an extension to be restricted to local calling only). Has this been released yet - if not, when does Cisco plan to provide this type of functionality on the UC320?

Thanks David - Any idea if the basic SCC Toolbar will function with the TAPI in use by the CRM? (http://www.cisco.com/en/US/prod/collateral/voicesw/ps6882/ps10585/data_sheet_c78-601646.html)

Folks- This community has been most helpful with this door entry system we are doing for this customer. We have one last hurdle: Right now we have the door entry system programmed as one of the buttons on the 7962 phone. If they need to open the door AND they are using the phone to talk, they must put the caller on hold. This is unnacceptable to the client. Is there a way to configure the UC540 so that the door can be opened without putting the call on hold? Configs attached

We've installed a Vik ing RC3 to handle remote door entry with the 540 product line. Right now the Viking answers and then waits for the Cisco to enter digits, but the Cisco has already sent them.. I need it to wait to send the digits to triger the door release. Does anybody have any experience making the UC delay it sending digits? My demo kit is in repair, so no way for me to test...

Paolo, we got the Viking RC3: http://assets.twacomm.com/assets/pdf/4378.pdf What we need to know now is: I have it to the point where the Viking RC-3 answers, but it then beeps twice and waits for the caller to enter digits to trigger one of the three relays.. I'm requesting from Cisco TAC that they provide a way for the UC540 to delay sending digits until after the Viking device answers

I see you posted this on another similar Q: http://www.sandman.com/pdf/Page40.pdf Would this DTMF relay allow me to program a particular button on the specific phone to always open the door WITHOUT an intercom device?

Hello All - We have a customer who runs a clinic where he needs a door latch system. The client will NOT have a pager at the door - the receptionist will need to physically see the patient walk to the door, then "Buzz" it open. We can permantly designate a button for this feature if needed. They have a 12V Electric Door Strike installed. Does anybody have a config or experience with this that they can share?

See attached drawings.. We can't get the Cisco 3560 to route traffic properly. We need all traffic that comes in on the 172 network to go back out over it. Currently all traffic is routing out to the 192.168.10.X network regardless of where it comes in from. Switch CLI posted... Any ideas?

This may be a silly question, but we have a client who has a Cisco 877W and I don't have one to test this on, but he claims that he cannot make routing decisions in this router from a device connected throught the LAN port. (the WAN port being an ADSL connection no longer in use) Our set up would be a T1 terminated to a CSU/DSU (seperate device) ethernet to LAN port 1 on the 877W and we want the 877W to make all routing decisions based upon traffic. Does anybody have a similar set up? Or intimate enough knowledge of this router to know?
