Hello All -
We have a customer who runs a clinic where he needs a door latch system. The client will NOT have a pager at the door - the receptionist will need to physically see the patient walk to the door, then "Buzz" it open.
We can permantly designate a button for this feature if needed.
They have a 12V Electric Door Strike installed. Does anybody have a config or experience with this that they can share?

As indicated above: YES.
Or you can use and intercom device and simply leave the voice portion disconnected.

Any device made to be connected to an FXS port will work.
In other words, any device made for any PBX will work.

I see you posted this on another similar Q:

Would this DTMF relay allow me to program a particular button on the specific phone to always open the door WITHOUT an intercom device?

Paolo,
we got the Viking RC3:

What we need to know now is:
I have it to the point where the Viking RC-3 answers, but it then beeps twice and waits for the caller to enter digits to trigger one of the three relays.. I'm requesting from Cisco TAC that they provide a way for the UC540 to delay sending digits until after the Viking device answers
