We have an ASR1001X on the edge of our network with a single gig interface going to a 3560 switch. I need to add a second interface between the ASR and switch, but am having trouble getting the port-channel to come up.
Note: I am testing this in V...
We are using a Palo Alto as an ABR, an interface (internet facing) in area 1, another interface (LAN facing) in area 0. In area 1, we are advertising a /19 to our various internet edge devices (redundant DC's/internet connections). My LAN devices a...
Just like the title suggests, I am planning a pretty complex OSPF scenario. Does every other area need to touch area 0? From what I've read it sounds like it does since area 0 is the hub.
While replacing 3750's with 3850's we are changing from eigrp to ospf. On the Nexus interface connecting to the 3750's is the command "ip summary-address eigrp 1 0.0.0.0/0 5" which pushes down a default route with a next hop IP of the Nexus interfac...

Also, on the switch ports I had to remove "channel-group 1 mode active" and ch...

I'm in a campus environment. Each distro switch supports VLAN's for each set of buildings.
So it goes:

Jon,
I've got it setup and partially working. I've redistributed the static routes however if I shut down the interface on the 3560 facing the Palo Alto the route doesn't get removed from the routing table, thus still advertising that route as reach...
