I have had multiple module failures of my 6348 mods across the campus that apparently have a bad chipset lot. Does DFM 1.1 have a specific instance or event that will notify me if traffic stops, even when all ports show connected via the console?

My DFM 1.1 system sends false operational exceptions (8 last night) for a specific cat6K that has not problem. When investigated via monitor console on errors logged and logs on switch are clean? Flease advise a fix.

I need a final answer on the subject of, can cw2k and/or dfm support/monitor/ping/snmp query any non cisco switches or routers (Cabletron...)?

Can I query all my cat6K 6348 modules with Cisco Works or can I only see the modules one switch at a time. I need to identify those factory defective 6348 modules throughout my campus??

How can I control the number of mail notifications sent about a single alert sent by DFM.
