It should be doing that for you, what version of PI are you running? Did any changes on the WLCs take place (interface name changes, SSIDs/Profile name changes)?
It could be someone manually configuring the IP address, but it also could be the device requesting the IP address...it might not be a naughty person....could just be a naughty device... ;-)
