Hi, the only time I've seen something similar was with Teraterm and an AP1131. In that case it was down to the flow control settings of the serial port under Teraterm - try the other available settings XON/XOFF, Hardware or None and see if that helps...

Hi Carl, if your IOS matches across the cards then it's likely that your standby supervisor is either stuck in rommon or in a boot loop. You will need console access to recover it if that's the case. Have you tried to reseat it?
