Is there a way to do a factory reset on a Cisco 877 router, which has password recovery functionality is disabled? Tried ctrl+break at various points in boot up as per cisco documentation, but no luck. Wonder if anyone else has had this problem?

Try and use the tftpdnld -r command where possible as this will load the IOS to RAM and get the device up and working quicker. This command (-r) also prevents any files being deleted on flash i.e. license, backup config, crashinfo, etc or other files...
