Can not configure ASA5510 with ASDM

I try to save the config, but it keeps giving me weird errors saying that it can not write the config code to the ASA. It keeps putting in '~' in my code! ANYONE, PLEASE HELP! I have to copy and paste the code into the ASA and it is driving me crazy....

How to do remote backup connection

I have a primary site with private connection via MPLS and then I have a cable modem connection. Right now we use 2801 router for primary connection and pix 501 for backup connection via VPN. The fail over is not automatic. Anything I can do?

I have a remote site with cable modem ISP and a wireless router, Cisco 1811W. What is the best security practice to use for this remote site? Can you provide a configuration example?
