I have a WAP571, a HP 2350-24G-PoEP and two laptops set up in a very simple VLAN/WIFI experiment.
Two laptops both connected to the AP on GUEST-5G can ping each other.
BUT, they can't ping the default gateway (192.168.60.1) or other wired devices on...
UPDATED: I have still not been able to resolve this (even after buying an 802.11at PoE supply. It's driving me nuts... If anyone can give me a nudge in the right direction it would be very much appreciated.

My issue isn't inter-VLAN routing. I'm not trying to ping between VLANS. I am trying to ping between Test Laptop 1 and Test Laptop 2 which are both in the same subnet (192.168.60.100 and 192.168.60.10...
This issue turned out to be something to do with the wireless 5G network. When I set up the same DEFAULT and GUEST wireless networks as 2G the ping tests between laptops and ASA succeeded as expected. I haven't ruled out a configuration difference ...
Thanks Seb, I'll accept your last reply as the solution to this question and head on over to wireless. You have been a great help and I now have a few more tests I can add to my tool box. Thanks again
