Thanks Jon....I had found that since I posted this, but the command "ip igmp snooping querier <ip address>" is not a valid command.....I'm not sure why though, the 5500 doc says it is valid. I may build a L3 interface for this VLAN and put PIM on it ...
Yea....probably not the best of explanations.....is there a way to create a "virtual data center" to segregate the FEXs.....as you mentioned the traffic I can segregate using just L2 vlans, limiting that traffic to just the "PCI" FEX ports, etc.........
Thanks for the reply Marius! I fixed this by just running "same-security-traffic permit intra-interface" on the ASA, I did not need to add the hairpin natting.Thanks for the help....Jeff
