I have a pair of Cisco Nexus 9508s running as a VPC pair, I am planning on placing Cisco ISR or ASR routers at my WAN edge to terminate my MPLS connectivity, I am trying to maximize my transit connectivity between the 9Ks and the routers.
Can I connect two interfaces on each router, one to each 9K and build a port channel on the router and a vpc on the 9Ks? Configuring a SVI on the 9Ks running HSRP between them and a tagged subinterface on the router with the other end of the transit network. We have had issues in the past trying to route over a VPC, not sure if this breaks the VPC rules or not.
I have attached a diagram with what I was thinking.

I am not sure what version of Nexus OS you are running but in the past layer-3 vPC was not supported.
