Need advice on setting up two things on an ASA-5510.1) Setting up QoS on a VPN connection. When I enable QoS on a VPN it breaks all other VPNs I have configured.2) Setting up a VPN with an iPhone VPN Client. Cisco's Docs are pretty straight forward ...
I have 2 version 4 IDS appliances that all of a sudden are reporting that the root filesystem is full during a signature update. Can anyone suggest where to start looking for the culprit? I've already ensure all logging (IP/Event) has been shut off...
While trying to import a version 4.x sensor into IDSMC 2.2.1, I get the following error:Import of sensor 10.42.46.35 failed.Error : Error importing configuration files from the sensor - Unable to import sensor config using RDEP: java.lang.Exception: ...
I'm sorry...I failed to mention that I did check to make sure the VMS/IDSMC is listed as a trusted host on the sensor, as well as an allowed host.Thx - Bob
The sensor is an ids-4235-K9 running 4.1(4)S125. I looked and subsig 0 was enabled. I disabled subsig 0 and all has stopped. Must have been a previous signature update that enabled the subsig 0 my mistake. Thanks!
Scott: I agree and came to the same conclusion as you have, and have rebooted the standby firewall each and every time this has happened (up to 3 times per week).I will open a TAC case and see what they can come up with. Thanks - Bob
I'm experiencing similar problems but only when trying to push a filter change. Signature updates work OK for me (except for one sensor in particular.)
