I'm hoping someone has come across this before and has the solution. I have a scenario with a Cisco 6506 and a 7206. The 6506 is running BGP and peers with our data center router. The 7206 is a stub router off the 6506 and is used as an edge router for customer T1 circuits. I want to use OSPF between the routers to exchange connected and static routes. The problem I have is that static BGP null routes on the 6506 are overriding the OSPF routes being received from the 7206. Example: The 6506 is advertising a class C network 192.168.1.0/24 to our data center. The 6506 does not utilize the 192.168.1.0/24 network. It is only used on the 7206 for customer T1 circuits and is carved up into /29 subnets. So the 6506 has a static route: ip route 192.168.1.0 255.255.255.0 null 0. Today the routing is accomplished with static routes on the 6506 for the 192.168.1.0 networks on the 7206. Using OSPF the 7206 advertises /29 links back to the 6506, but when I withdraw one of the /29 static routes from the 6506, the /24 null route takes precedence over the more specific /29 routes and the traffic is black-holed on the 6506. So my question is - how can I get the OSPF routes to look preferable to the /24 null route on the 6506? Thanks for the help and let me know if my example is not clear. ... View more

Hello. I am having trouble bringing up a T1 on a  2650XM router. I am using a VWIC-2MFT-T1 card in the 2650. The other  device is a  Cisco 7206. If I pull out the VWIC-2MFT-T1 and put it in a 1721 the T1  comes right up, so it seems the card is ok and the 2650 requires  something additional in the code.  This is what I have on the 7206: controller T1 6/0 framing esf clock source internal linecode b8zs channel-group 0 timeslots 1-24 interface Serial6/0:0 ip address 10.0.0.1 255.255.255.0 This is what I have on the 2650XM: Router#sh run Building configuration... Current configuration : 962 bytes ! version 12.3 service timestamps debug datetime msec service timestamps log datetime msec no service password-encryption ! hostname Router ! boot-start-marker boot-end-marker ! ! no network-clock-participate slot 1 no network-clock-participate wic 0 no aaa new-model ip subnet-zero ip cef ! ! controller T1 0/2 framing esf clock source free-running linecode b8zs channel-group 1 timeslots 1-24 ! interface Serial0/2:1 ip address 10.0.0.5 255.255.255.0 The carrier detect light is green on the 2650 WIC. Im not sure what i am missing here but i have a couple questions. 1.) When my SPA 525g resets or reboots i see it trying to fetch the following from our TFTP server even through im not sure how it got the address and not sure what these files even are. 2.) We use Broadsoft to create 525.xml, and $MAC.cfg which is does but even when i tell the phone to sync with 525.xml it doesnt do anything. I have attached the files that the device is trying to fetch.
