Thanks. The only question left is that there are multiple internal endpoints that would need to be reached in the same manner. The endpoints are older Polycom FX's approx. 12 years old.
Can you post the config of the switchport that connected to the HQ ASA for Phones network. According to your config it is port 38 3550 switch on vlan 5 for ip phone to remote.
Change the following on the remote sideglobal (inside) 1 interface to global (outside) 1 interface. This will Pat the insidehosts to the outside for internet access.
