We are trying to configure SIP trunks VIA CCA (Latest version) on a UC560 latest version. However the username and password field doesn't save.  When you open CCA SIP trunk configuration the fields are blank, fill them in and save, exist and go back in they are still blank.  If you ftp the config off the unit and search for the field "username" only the phones and admins come up - no mention of SIP.   Are we missing something? ... I have upgraded from a UC540 to a UC560. I have an analogue extension and a SPA504G that are a shared extension, on the 540 when you configure a "watch" or "monitor" button on a DSS for the shared extension number the SPA504G triggers the BLF on the DSS - i.e. when the 504G goes off hook the BLF illuminates.  The analogue extension does not illuminate the BLF Since moving to the 560 platform the analogue illuminates the BLF but the 504G does not. Is there a way of setting the device that does / doesn't trigger the BLF key to illuminate? ... View more

Hi I am having the following issues with a UC320W and SPA508G phones. I am unable to configure BLF keys on the SPA508G phones, there is no option in the configuration only speed dials or monitor, although the documentation shows the option for a BLF key? When in a call none of the programable button labels are visible so it is not possible to xfer using the speed dial keys, this renders all the programmable buttons pretty useless? I have a UC540 with 2 x Analogue trunks, caller display is enabled on the trunks and caller id is displayed on the outgoing callers although all inbound calls are displaying as Anonymous. Is there anything system related tht could affect this? ... View more

I am having some issues with some really basic telecom functionality on the UC540, can anyone comment?                   Set a different ring tone for a group call and an individual call – STAC are saying I need to give each extension 2 numbers – one in a group and one for individual, does this eat into the licence for total users? SNR – A SPA504G phone needs to be twinned with an analogue DECT phone connected to the system, if you use SNR and answer the call on the DECT phone the IP Handset just keeps ringing.  I could put the phones in a group but then it is messy when I need to put the group in a group – which I guess I can’t I have to put both extensions in the group. Missed calls – missed calls are being notified on all group phones even though the call was answered by someone else. Night Service – In the day the main number ring group A, Overflows to B then to Everyone.  At night it should ring everyone then go to voicemail – this seems to be impossible, or am I being stupid – not outside the realms of possibility. The client wants to use a Netgear POE switch to extend the system POE is this possible?  I have tried every combination of smart port in CCA but nothing seems to work.  I can do it with a Cisco classic by setting up trunking through CLI but the Netgear is unmanaged I keep seeing duplex mismatch errors on the uplink port on the cisco LAN switch to the UC540 – I have tried fixing the port speeds both sides with all combinations but the same error occurs regardless. ... Has anyone experienced constant resync issues on the SR520 routers on ADSL2 and ADSL2+ I have installed 8 routers to date and 6 of them keep loosing carrier, finding carrier and resyncing, the time gap between varies from a few minutes to a few hours, sometimes the router will not resync even though carrier is solid - only after a reboot will it resync. I am running the latest IOS and have tried using later alcatel chipset firmware with no success. currently running .14 but have tried .17. Any ideas? ... View more
