Hello! I'm trying to config remote backup acces from Cisco 4221 to switch 2960L using router's combo aux/con port. I connected these devices with rollover cable. The router doesn't have physical aux port, but it has combo aux/console interface. Configuration of line console and line aux: line con 0 login local transport input none stopbits 1 line aux 0 exec-timeout 60 0 modem InOut no exec transport input all transport output all stopbits 1 Output of show line comand: Router# sh line Tty Line Typ Tx/Rx A Modem Roty AccO AccI Uses Noise Overruns Int 0 0 CTY - - - - - 0 19 0/0 - 1 1 AUX 9600/9600 - inout - - - 0 0 0/0 - * 866 866 VTY - - - - - 1 0 0/0 - 867 867 VTY - - - - - 0 0 0/0 - 868 868 VTY - - - - - 0 0 0/0 - Output of show line aux 0 comand: Router#sh line aux 0 Tty Line Typ Tx/Rx A Modem Roty AccO AccI Uses Noise Overruns Int 1 1 AUX 9600/9600 - inout - - - 1 0 0/0 - Line 1, Location: "", Type: "" Length: 24 lines, Width: 80 columns Baud rate (TX/RX) is 9600/9600, no parity, 1 stopbits, 8 databits Status: Ready, No Exit Banner, CTS Raised, Modem Signals Polled Capabilities: EXEC Suppressed, Modem Callout, Modem RI is CD Modem state: Ready Modem hardware state: CTS* DSR* DTR RTS Special Chars: Escape Hold Stop Start Disconnect Activation ^^x none - - none Timeouts: Idle EXEC Idle Session Modem Answer Session Dispatch 01:00:00 never none not set Idle Session Disconnect Warning never Login-sequence User Response 00:00:30 Autoselect Initial Wait not set Modem type is unknown. Preferred transport is telnet. Shell: enabled Shell trace: off No output characters are padded No special data dispatching characters When I try to reverse telnet to switch i receive the message, thet connection is open and then nothing happens: Router#188.8.131.52 2001 Trying 184.108.40.206, 2001 ... Open I used different configurations of console and aux port, but couldn't fix the problem. On cisco comunity many topics with simple reverse telnet issues, but there are no discussions about combo interfaces. I will appreciate you help!

I have a problem with hold queue on ASR 1002x Gigabit interface. Hold-queue counter reaches max value and interface drops all inbound traffic. H old-queue value isn't decreased until reboot the router or change max size of hold-queue on interface. Is it bug or wrong configuration?
