Hi,you can see it with "show version" one of the lower lines, but older systems like PIX520 with upraded flashcard the shown serial number differs from that on the chassis. It is stored in the flash.
There is no way to copy the image from a PIX to a TFTP server. You need the image downloaded from Cisco, I recommend th latest 6.3.5 too and than you can copy it from TFTP to the PIX.
