SPA 9000 and SPA 8000 Compatiable?

I using a SPA 8000 with a Panasonic wireless phone system (pots)Can I upgrade to a SPA 9000 and still use the the 8000 with the 9000 for the pots lines?I need 5 pots lines with the SPA 9000.Steve
