Does anyone know how to get ADSL working through a c1117?
We upgraded to one from a 1841 so I just copied the config over but the dialer wont get a IP address from the ISP.
If I look at the dialer int on the 1841 it has a public ip assigned to it...
unfortunately because the switch 3 is a cbs220 the commands seem to be reduced to normal ciscos.So show int trunk doesn't workshow vlan shows :VID | VLAN Name | Untagged Ports | Tagged Ports | Type-------+...
just in case anyone else comes to this thread the above diagram worked. im just missing either a fw rule to allow lan to mgmt so i can get on both mgmt interfaces or another port in vlan 10 for the same.
Thanks for that info. I couldnt find anywhere in there where it says how to setup the standby IP unfortunately.
I just checked on the FDM on the management interface and if i change it to static again there is nowhere to put in the standby IP.
