does anyone found out how to monitor MPLS-VPN router ?i have a 7200 router which has several VRF's in it which i would like to monitor (number of sessions per vrf , ip traffic..etc.) each vrf..i found several links to the VPN-MIB and MPLS-VPN and PP...
i wonder if i can get cpu/memory/etc.. on a line card using SNMPfor example, in the CLI i can use 'execute-on slot 7 show proc cpu' to see cpu utilization on the line card itself...but i couldn't find any oid to get it via snmp.if anyone knows how ...
Hi manel,if all the remote sites are connected to one central router via FR connections, (ppp connections) you can just capture FR link status change traps on the one central router,this, of course depends on every remote site, has a dedicated fr dlc...
i already tried that.. but the router doesn't seem to return any info for that oid subtree...though the IOS ver is fairly updated :IOS (tm) 7200 Software (C7200-JS-M), Version 12.2(4)B2
what SNMP operation are you refering to ?polling the devices ? monitor interface changes ? monitor devices and interfaces ? (traffic,cpu...etc..)or ... ?
