When migrating multiple ACI fabrics to Multi-site, normal procedure is that the MSO imports the tenant configuration from one site and stretch it to other sites. The question is that when all sites have had the same tenant configured individually, ho...
Quick question about the ACI multi-site implementation. Is there any implication if the sites used the same TEP pool IP space or infrastructure VLAN ID?
Thanks,
David
My customer has an ACI implementation which there are 2 of the all leaf switches single homed with one of the two spines because of the circuits constraint, say leaf-1 only connects with spine-1, and leaf-2 only connects with spine-2.
leaf-1 and le...
I understand Multipod IPN should a dedicated network or in a VRF. However customer has a Multipod implementation with IPN in the global table because of some technical issues with the DCI link capability. It hasn't had any issue until the regular L3O...
Customer deployed Multipod ACI at two data centers and started migrating OTV VLANs to ACI fabric. the ACI border leaf has extended EPG to the legacy network via static binding on VPC at both data centers thus the ACI fabric is the L2 transport betwee...
In a Multi-site ACI implementation, does the number of the shadow EPG's need to be taken into consideration of EPG scalability when site-local EPG's need to communicate with the stretched EPG's or site-local EPG's in another site? Thanks,
From the list, it appeared that the APIC only supported SNMP trap for physical components or at the system level. Does APIC send SNMP trap for any fault or event by the ACI managed objects (e.g. Bridge Domain or EPG)? Thanks,David
Thank you Chris for your message and the diagram :). I really appreciate your thoughts. These are border leafs and they are running double side vPC with a pair of Nx7k's on the legacy network. They did forward traffic but there was connectivity issue...
For anyone who may have the same question on how to verify the infra-VLAN configuration locally on the switch, the command is "moquery -c lldpInst".
In our case, all 10 spine and leaf switches in a Pod had infra-VLAN 4094. The problem was resolved ...
Thank you Robert.
I don't have physical access to the switch so I did the wipe "setup-clean-config.sh" "reload" by attaching to the switch from the working APIC-1. This was done a few times already. Does the leaf store infra-VLAN in its config? if ye...
